Try to answer questions /w to you from lower lvl people, and of course answer so they understand.
Be polite, no need to get rude just because someone is new to the game = got a lot of questions
Dont take they knowledge for granted, many things that you think of as something everyone knows, might be completely strange to new players.
Tell them "no" instead of "omfg n00bcake u sux L2P and L2LFG" if someone ask for a boost.
Treat others like you want them to treat you
(or something like that)

Just a small thing;
When you want to duel someone, don't just go up to them and spam the duel button.
It's manners to ask if they'd like to duel or you could simply do a /bow.
Also, bandage/buff/heal the opponent after the fight!

Do not:
-Beg random level 70 characters for gold. Unless you just saw them fly in on their epic flying mount, chances are they're saving for one.
-Whisper random level 70 characters for a dungeon run-through, or ask them to power-level you. Despite what you may think, that paladin you're asking did not spend the time leveling to 70 and assembling the gear needed to be an uncrittable/uncrushable raid tank just to play wet-nurse to your level 30 hunter, because you're not resourceful enough to level yourself.
-Offer said level 70 a paltry amount of gold for run-throughs or boosts. The dailies are worth more on a gold/hour basis than you could possibly offer.
-Invite someone to a group with no prior contact.
-Pester people. If they said no the first time, or didn't respond at all, repeated attempts will get you ignored, or shamed in general/trade/etc.
-Join a guild that is spamming all channels with their recruitment message. In fact, even if they're only spamming in /guildrecruitment, I'd be hesitant to join.
-Be afraid to join in world PvP, no matter how low-level you are. You attacks may not do damage to that guy 30 levels higher than you, but your special abilities might...
-Be afraid to PuG (up to a certain level, anyway). Some of the most solid players I know are contacts I made when PuGing low-level dungeons like deadmines and Gnomer.
-Roll against someone who can use a piece of gear, if you only intend to sell/DE it. Bad form.
-ERP.

The best etiquette tip is to learn to play YOUR character before you get into groups where other people are depending on you. Some group play techniques can only be learned in group, but you should at least know how to use your abilities before joining a group. Things like breaking crowd control, pulling at the wrong time, ninja looting, etc. tend to really irritate people in groups.

Unless it is someone you know, don't use leet speak. It just isn't nice to see all that coming charging through the Trade channel.
