Free Action Potion Nerf
Return to board index
I didn't see anything about this in the hotfixes or patch notes, but I found out the hard way:
My level 85 druid cannot use free action potions. I get the error: "Target is too high level"
Oh that sucks! I wonder if they killed living action potion too. They'd better not have...it is the only reason I grinded rep before ZG died!
Hmm it has a level requirement of level 20. So passed 60 then is should be nerfed.
Wait, so the only reason my warrior could beat frost mages gets nerfed AND they made charge and intercept share a cooldown?
Blizzard hates me.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
So, without any warning or patch notes, they just decided that free action and living action potions need to be disabled at level 85. Forget that they lived through 2 expansions already with no problems. No one really complained about them being a problem.
I can see them deciding to ban them from rated battlegrounds since they basically want to run rated BGs like arena, but there is no reason to kill them in regular BGs or anywhere else for that matter. The only real reason I did the rep grind in ZG before it disappeared was to get the recipe for living action potions, and now they are virtually worthless/useless.
Bloodthirsty Gladiator's Badge of Dominance and Vicious Gladiator's Insignia of Dominance on-use effects now properly modify healing done.
Darkmoon Card: Volcano now triggers from periodic damage.
Divine Shield and Blessing of Protection no longer remove the Blind Spot debuff from the normal and Heroic versions of the Jar of Ancient Remedies. When targeting an ally at very close range (2-3 yards) when using this item, it will still energize them instead of the user. This will be fixed in an upcoming patch.
Free Action Potion now cannot be used above level 80.
Jan 8-18 Hotfixes.
Well, hotfixes aren't announced until afterward.
