Did you recently update any addons? Likely, as 5.2 hit last week. So, disable those. If you checked "Load out of date addons", uncheck it.
If that doesn't help, if you updated too many or don't know which ones since you use e.g. the Curse updater, you should try renaming the Interface and WTF folders in the WoW directory (sorry, can't tell you where that is on Mac)
Renaming instead of Deleting, because it's likely a single issue, and you may not want to lose all your addons and settings just to fix that one bug.
