It's probably a combination of your reforging and the scaling of consecration with attack power. Consecration is a notable portion of your dps and at low vengeance (or no vengeance, in this case), it hits fairly weakly (the base damage on it is being increased in 5.2). I've had to tell a DK off tanks to sit on blood boil and pestilence for a solid 6 seconds, cause I couldn't hold on to mobs if they got their diseases off before vengeance ramped up. I would say get into a dungeon and see what happens. Try Mogu-shun palace if you're feeling shaky about going into heroics. All of the pulls in there are 2-6 mobs and you should be able to keep an eye on threat just fine. Start skulling if your dps are going to town on different mobs.
Also, just to make sure, what lvl 75 and 90 talents did you pick and how are you using them?

Dk tanks do more damage than paladins especially on no vengeance. Plenty of damage is passive or weapon damage based (and 2hander does way more damage than 2hander). Rotation is way simpler, there is no need to sacrifice damage for survival purpouses (not as big as paladins)
1) rune strike - it cant be dodged or parried.
2) diseases - with proper passives the go all over everything, cant be dodged or parried
3) free blood boils
4) 2hander autoattack and weapon damage based abilities > 1hander autoattack and weapon damage based abilities (vengeance makes the differences smaller).
5) as a paladin you are bound by resource you need to generate and spend (holy power) and cooldowns on all basic abilities - death knights resources are either given at start and regenerate over time (runes) or are generated by nearly every single ability which have no cooldowns themselves (runic power)
This is how it goes. Deal with it. You cant have everything the same, it would be no point in having different classes if all had exact the same playstyle/stats/performance/strengths/weaknesses.
Only Goldencalf armory i managed to find but prolly not you because it has 5 weeks of LFR done, so aint a fresh din:

Simple answer: Don't sweat the dummy DPS. Especially as a tank. It's not your role to do DPS.
Go in dungeons and see, how you are going. If you have any issues - fix them, or ask for advice. But likely you won't have any.

This so much....
Your job as a tank is to
Hold Aggro
and
Try to die
.
Not to DPS
.
Dk's and Bears do some crazy damage as tanks. IF your going to compare your tank damage with that of another class compare it to a Warrior not a dk.
As far as I have seen your not going to have worry about other dps pulling threat off you unless there well overgeared and are poping cd's. IF that the case use your Taunt, Hand of Sac. and if needs be Hand of Proc. (be prepared to get yalled at if you use this)

Sorry for the belated reply... I can suggest a few things that would up your DPS, but these guys have the right idea. Take a look at holy avenger if you've been unlucky with DA procs. Used well, it's a great survival cooldown (it's the talent of choice for many raiding pallys because it's there when you want it) and does good damage, especially paired with avenging wrath. Be sure to alternate fillers and holy power generating abilities. Remember that SotR is off of the global CD. Also, I personally like holy prism for it's versatility and it makes a good rotation filler. If you want AOE damage, use it as a self heal. As a single target attack, it has a lot of punch and will establish aggro well and comes with the perk of healing near by party members.

Which seal were you using? In AoE situations, typically you would want to use seal of righteous, and in single target, seal of truth. It's very common for dps to go wild on both tankable mobs and blow all CDs at the start. Here's what I was doing, and I think it's pretty good in general for 2-3 mobs
In that situation, I would actually prefer to use seal of truth, and target switch to build up stacks of censure (a full 5 stack censure will be about 20% of your single target damage and is a strong option in 2-3 target cleave). Apply sacred shield, drop consecration, and use avenging wrath (especially if you suspect the DPS will be blowing CDs) during the RP dialog (good to do as a pre-pull regimen, even better in this case because you can put it right under him). Focus on the first active boss, get that 5 stack, then judge and AS the next one once you can. Don't waste globals while the new mob runs up, keep attacking the one you have until he's in range, then switch back to the new mob to build threat, using HotR instead of CS to help maintain threat on the old mob.
Don't sweat that too much, due to mount farming, you're more likely to see people at a much higher gear lvl then you and people nuking the snot out of them. If you notice a single really geared guy, set him as focus and keep an eye on what he's targeting. You can also macro hand of salvation to your focus target for extra help. If it's *really* getting to be a problem, and you can't hold aggro long enough to build vengance, let the DPS have 'em, build your threat for you, and taunt back after your hard hitting spells come off CD or right before the DPS dies.

As prot you want to use Seal of Insight for both single target and multi target situations. The healing done is more threat done.
SoT should be the conscious choice when you actively want to increase dps on a single target, but SoI should be your default.
