Fresh Start - Server recommendations [EU]

With the launch of Pandaria I'm looking for a fresh start.
Back in December 2011 when SWToR launched the guild I had been a member of since vanilla decided to disband and move to SWToR. Since then I've stopped playing after struggling to find a new guild to settle into during the end of expansion lull.
Currently my two lvl85 characters are on Grim Batol (EU) as Alliance.
A few of the old guild members have returned to WoW and reformed the guild as Horde on Draenor. While I'm not really interested in rejoining the old guild (the old vibe has gone after disbanding) I am currently considering trying Horde, starting again and grouping up over Battle.net at times.
I'm looking for an all round server with good population but no queues (once the expansion madness has calmed down).
I'm not interested in Super Hardcore PvE as mt free time means I can't dedicate the time for that kind of raiding schedule. Casual is my thing these days. Challenge Modes is what I'm most interested in.
Not too bothered about PvP. It's fun, but again, I'm not really interested in hardcore PvP. It's just a fun distraction to do now and then. When I'm out in the world I like to at least see the opposing faction now and then.
So the big question....which EU server would be a good choice for Horde?
Everywhere I've looked says Draenor is one of the best, however it looks odd if I decide not to rejoin the old guild but move my characters to their server!

After researching on multiple forums and
http://wow.realmpop.com/eu.html
there seems to be a general consensus about one or two realms.
Draenor, Kazzak, Outland and Stormreaver seem to be the ones most people mention.
Looking around the realm forums however makes me nervous picking one.
Draenor seems perfect, but with my old guildies on there it just feels weird...
Kazzak and Outland are Locked most of the time so can't even create an alt there and check them out.
and finally Stormreaver is known as a the Unofficial Finnish Server.
I'm rubbish at making decisions!

Should note the EU servers have been overpopulated as of recent. You may want to check out the realm status online to ensure there is both room for your toons and it's not too full. Outlands, for example, has required players to queue up before being allowed to login as it's at capacity.

With MoP out, and looooooooong login que's all over the place, I shall suggest the servers I play on. If you hate RP tho, please don't go there.
I play on Argent Dawn, normal RP server, which is great, tho the community on Alliance side is a bit like on Moonguard US I'm afraid ...
Also rerolled fairly recently to Defias Brotherhood, which from my experience have a great community, it's a RP-PvP realm, but the horde/ally ratio seems okay, at least to me.
None of these realms have ques. It's wonderful. Hope you find a realm that suits you!
EDIT: Both of these have realm status 'High pop' but none of them seems to be full at any time. Also, as far as I know, they aren't ever locked.
EDIT2: Okay, It seems AD have the realm status Full, but DB is still on Medium.

If you dislike Que times, I would not recomend Ravencrest-EU nor would I recomend Outlands-EU.
I would recomend I would sugest that you apply for Server X because of Z. Or you can allways pick Server X because we need more C and not more B.
Sorry, don't got any server recomendation.

Silvermoon used to be very nicely populated, have friendly people and short queues. When the expansion came out, it has been too full. In the most active hours, there are even server queues! I hadn't seen that since level 60! When things start to smooth out, I would highly recommend that server.
Outland is even worse. Impossible to get in.
Alonsus has nice short queues for both dungeons and battlegrounds. I recommend you to not pay too close attention to the trade chat though, if you are sensitive to strong language.

My server is doing OK at the moment (Azjol-Nerub), it was a dead realm a few months back (lucky for me I was on a break then) and since it has gone back up to a medium population realm. Since the release of MoP it is incredibly active (for us) and even the underpopulated horde side is busy busy busy. I believe it is roughly 80% Alliance which does make for some tricky times in World PvP and a pretty fun challenge, but mostly we horde can pull our weight. Also, as it is only a medium population realm, there are never any queues to log on and the people are very friendly, many many social guilds exist (one of which I am a long standing part of). If you want to come check it out feel free to make a character here and hit me up :)
