Tell your guild leaders to read, since they're clearly ignorant. And/or link them this thread.
Right now frost is about 15-20% less dps than the frostfire builds. With the new patch they'll be much much better with torment of the weak changes, but still behind by about 10%. Just check out the EJ threads on frost and frostfire raiding.
Edit: If you had to spec frost, then this would be your ideal build:
