In Kara on Opera. The guy was talking to the audience about "forbidden love" (Romulo and Julianne) and we were talking about how you can target the audience and they are in range of a gun/bow. Right as he finishes our you hear "click"...."bang" and off goes a round into the audience from our huntard. Shortly followed by the mob and here comes Julianne.
It was one of the most painful wipes I think I have ever experienced in Kara, but kinda funny at the same time.

When the hunter misdirected to me (healer) instead to the main tank on prince. We still give him a hard time...

Running Botanica last night. we were having all sorts of issues with
High Botanist Freywinn
. Damn tree hugger just wouldn't go down. Somehow managed to wipe three times. 3rd time, I feigned, and as the last alive person in the instance, expected to see him reset. But he kept on past me, toward the exit.
I released, and corpse hoofed. Was just about to the door, and the tank said 'Uh guys, get here quick'.
Got in, and about halfway to the 1st bridge, and the tank was fighting Freywinn, who had decided to give up on the whole healing/spawning annoying plants and treants business, and just go melee. Downed him in about 30 seconds, and chuckled mightily.

Illidan. Guild second kill. We're at like 6 or 7% health, and the (paladin) tank yells "SHEAR!" just as the boss goes into soft enrage and gets one-shotted for a good 9 or 10k (for those who don't know the fight, shear drops the tank's maximum health from the normal 22k to under 9k for a few seconds).
Chaos erupts, and everyone starts spamming damage and burning pots to down him before he kills everyone. In the confusion, shadow fiends erupt out of a couple of the dps as they're killed by the rampaging boss. We end up with about ten or twelve shadow fiends running around killing people.
A hunter runs around in circles, kiting about ten shadow fiends, and gets the debuff... and dies. A shaman ankhs, chain lightnings the boss... dies. A holy priest uses soulstone, and uses shadow word death on the boss, killing himself, hitting Illidan... who runs into a trap on the ground, and the dots kill him while the priest is in angel form.
Vent goes absolutely wild, and the death speech plays out as we all cheer and congratulate the holy priest (who's also the GM).
Then someone says "Uh, guys... why is the corpse not sparkling?". A bit of confusion ensues, and just as we're all looking at the corpse, it despawns... leaving no loot.
The really ironic thing is, they fixed the bug in the patch the next day. Thanks to a kind GM, we did get loot through the post, though.

Two funny moments:
Moment One
I was afk getting a soda while my guild prepared for the Prince fight in Kara. I was standing inside the doorway, no problems there. As I get back and sit down, I find that the tank thought I was back and is all prepped, MDed by the Hunter, and is about to pull. At the same time, I notice that all the Paladin buffs I had passed out had expired.
Being a good Paladin, I of course start buffing through PallyPower, starting with the tank. Well, Blessing of Light hits him
just
as Prince aggros - and somehow my buff generates more threat than MD, so Prince veers in mid-run and starts charging toward me (and thus charging toward everyone but the tank and our Rogue). The tank was able to grab aggro before Prince smacked anyone, but it was a funny "Oh spit!" moment.
Moment Two
We were running Heroic Slave Pens (same tank as above), and we'd just reached the top of the double ramp where there are several patrolling Naga right before you jump down into the deep pool of water. We make a bad pull and get both the patrol on the other upward ramp and the mobs on the opposite downward ramp, and wipe - except for one of the Hunters, who FDed.
Not realizing that one of the Hunters was still alive, the tank had released (a fact the Hunter didn't realize). The Hunter comes over and uses his jumper cables on me (which works for once), and I start rezzing - ending with the tank, who is laying in the middle of the aggro path for both patrols still. I'm able to dash up, get my rez off, and tell the tank to rez immediately and run back with me.
The tank doesn't hear me and stays dead, so I warn him to wait until after the patrol passes and starts away. He replies, "OK, just let me know when it's clear." I hear the Hunter snicker - and just as both patrols are nearly on top of the tank's body, the Hunter shouts, "OK, rez and run quick!"
Of course, the tank does - and comes back to life with five very angry Naga bearing down on him.
We wiped - again - but it was worth the repair bill.

My first and only TK run ever, with my previous guild. First we spent 2 hours trying to get enough people online. Then we spent 2 hours wiping horribly all the way from the entrance to Void Reavers room.
Two of the most frustrating hours of my life, as our raid leader pretty much refused to take any advise when it came to group setups (a priceless one had a mage, an enhancement shaman, a hunter, a rogue and a holy priest).
Who was healing who was anyone's guess, as he never bothered to assign healers. The same went for actually mentioning what the different trash mobs did, which left to amusing results on the first pack, as mages would sheep their mobs and then forget all about it, ignoring that the sheep was cleansed by the vindicator and proceeded to tear the raid a new one.
The first pack of mini-phoenixes was also equally amusing, as the raid leader assigned our prot paladin to tank them without mentioning their aoe silence. Quite amusing for the first two tries, before they decided on using warrior/druid to tank them (they never bothered with the MD-to-Paladin tactic).
Then the Phoenix-Hawks, which we managed to double pull quite a number of times. Add the usual people not understanding "Everyone stand in melee range except the OT" and you have a raid running all over, trying to intercept the damn mob. Oh joy.
And the straw that broke my LAN cable's back ("Whoops"): Inspecting various raid members during a break and realising that only around 10 had actually enchanted their gear AND gemmed it with anything more than vendor-gems!
In hindsight, it's pretty amusing to think that I had actually imagined our raid group killing Void Reaver that night.
