Fury/Arms + Sunder = ?

So I'm a tank, a druid tank at that. I love sunder armour, and I think its one of the best debuffs in the game (short of only Expose armour, and tied with Curse of the Elements)

I recently got into an argument with a fury warrior who basically refused to sunder at all.

So the question is this.
Your in a 10man raid, half the dps is physical, should you sunder, and why?
Would anything change if it was a 25man raid.

Personally i think warriors should sunder any mob that's going to survive more then 40 seconds. I also think that too many warriors either don't understand what sunder provides, or would rather try to beat that rogue then sunder up and improve both of theirs at a cost of his alone.

Indeed, the warrior in question said that i didn't know what i was talking about, and that if sunder was as good as i thought it was, why other 'better' tanks hadn't asked the same of him.

I'll add for the record, i've gotten tired of asking pug warriors to sunder for me because they are so resistant to the idea and/or forgetful that its just a headake i try not to deal with.. but in times when we need all the dps we can get (Patchwork/Gargoyles), i'm going to ask for sunders.

I'd just like to either see my thoughts vindicated or denounced.

I'm talking about 10/25 mans here. I would prefer sunder on bosses in 5mans, but they are so easy that its a non-issue

He sounds bad.
I bet he doesn't even have a macro to change into defensive stance, equip shield and 1h, and use shield block/shield wall if necessary, good thing I made one because it's saved many a wipe in heroics and raids, you get a lot of 'rep' too for saving the day.

I have sunder armor on my action bar for all three stances, it's great to use in any situation, pvp and pve.
It's a great boost to physical DPS, about 20% or so.
I don't use it on trash, just bosses then nuke.

The innate threat bonus to sunder armor is really a non-issue, unless your tank is bad.
