I didn't see this posted anywhere on here yet (course I may have missed it in the sea of topics here :3 )The buffs from these will replace any existing timed buffs on weapons.(I.E. Weight stones, sharpening stones, etc.) Towards the higher levels, if you party with a rogue who uses poisons it's a good idea to avoid using these as it will take off one of the poison buffs from the rogue's weapon and you'll have a very upset rogue. (Well depending on who's playing said rogue of course :P )
EDIT:
Windfury Totem
and
Flametongue Totem
are what I am referring to.

Well, from my experience, my WF totem is better than any poison or weightstone. So I've never had anyone specifically ask me to not lay WF so they can use their instant poison.
I've not been asked either but I've heard some rogues have complained about it so that's why it's an FYI in case you want to avoid anyone's T_T, on another note...Grace of Air Totem is better for parties with Rogues and Hunters because it ups their crit chance, armor, and AP.

I'm far from being an expert on Rogues but from experiences I've had running with Rogues I've found that Combat and Subtlety Rogues seem to be fine with WF but that Assassination Rogues who can do additional damage via talents and on Mutilate will always prefer their poisons to WF.
This is just from what I've experienced though, I'm sure some skilled Rogues could clarify it further.
As a Warrior myself, we always prefer WF. Hell, I'm almost always tanking in groups and I still love it - does wonders for my TPS.

The moral to the story is to *ask* ahead of time. It's a RARE occasion indeed that you don't have enough time BEFORE a group starts combat that you don't have time. As a rogue, depending on the level, I *usually would* prefer windfury over poisons. However, I'd also prefer not to waste a couple of poison applications, too. Personal preference.
I can almost guarantee you though that the tank is going to try to overrule ANY objection the rogue might have because as a tank, windfury helps add agro.
Just ask.

(has a 70 rogue)
The rogue must manually remove their poison in order to receive the benefits of the totem in question. :-)

I tought they removed the override from Wpn totem long ago. I think WFT don't override psn and stone anymore. I usually drop my WF totem when i have 2 or more char that benifits from it, otherwise i use GoA. As i always play with a feral druid, GoA usually wins.
It's highly possible they did, I plan on testing this again and will post findings unles someone gets to it first. If this is the case, this post is obsolete but will serve as info that will clear any confusion about it. =^.^=
