Morning from the UK, I have been away from WoW for about 12 months due to my previous laptop being out of date to play properly. I’m not looking to get a gaming laptop with a limited budget. A family member is selling an ASUS ROG GL753:
|SKU|GL753VD-GC082T|
|Processor Type|Intel Core i5|
|Bluetooth|Bluetooth 4.1|
|Solid State Capacity|128GB SSD|
|Network Card|Fast Gigabit Ethernet|
|Card Reader|2-in-1 card reader ( SD, MMC )|
|Webcam|Integrated HD Webcam with Microphone|
|Battery|4-cell Lithium Ion|
|Wireless LAN|Wi-Fi - 802.11ac|
|Memory|12GB|
|Speakers|Integrated Sound System|
The spec would meet the minimum requirments, do you think this will give me decent performance? Also, do you think that this will give me a number of years of uninterrupted WoW?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert so don't hold me to anything I say but thought I would say what I think.
Processor seems to be a weak point. Personally I would want a i7 and not a i5. Does depend on the i5 but I believe shadowlands has really increased what's needed to realistically run the game decently.
Also can't see what graphics card you have. But researching the model it's a GTX 1050 Ti which I would say would run the game at a maximum of medium graphics before you start encountering issues.
Also that SSD would need upgrading. WoW is over 100GB now so with a OS also on that SSD you won't have any room for most modern games now.
Personally, it would depend on how much they want for it, of its dirt cheap then sure, it should run just not amazingly well.
