Gear for 10-mans

Been running heroics for a while, and am currently wonder what gear to upgrade before it would be acceptable for me to run 10-man raids.

Before I got the Reaper of Dark Souls, I was using a Ymiron's Blade enchanted with 50 AP, and was doing around 1600-1700 dps in H UK.

What would you suggest upgrading before trying 10 man raids, and which would you suggest upgrading first?

(In 3 emblems of heroism, I'll be picking up the mirror, and just waiting for trollwoven spaulders to be 700g, or for Spaulder's of Egotism to come to the AH).

Welcome to the forums, Squeal. I indeed recommend getting the Mirror of Truth. It's well worth it!

Continue running Heroics such as Gun'drak & Utgarde Pinnacle. They have nice upgrades (rings, trinkets, etc.) while working on reputation w/ Wyrmrest Accord and the Argent Crusade. I see little reason why a competent guild would deny you a spot in raid, unless they're having a hard time progressing. Also, your belt, shoulders (you mentioned these), and cloak could be upgraded for a price, up to you if you want to speed things up a bit.

I'm guessing that I'll be aiming for the boots from Crusade and the bracers from Wyrmrest? Would it be worth purchasing, if I find it for a decent price, the Avool's Sword of Jin for OH?

And the reason why I'm asking about raid readiness is that, being guildless, PUGs are often more demanding about stats.
