BloodOnTheDanceFloor
I hope to Cthulhu you are kidding...
What's wrong with Blood on the Dance Floor?
Their music is terrible, they are blatant pedophiles and rapists, and they look more retarded than I thought humanly possible.
I will respect most musical opinions, but nothing involving crunkcore.
I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to question your opinion. I was just curious, in general. Personally, I like it, but to each their own. :)
I'm honestly surprised that you like it, given that you also like deathcore. Most of the people I've seen that like BotDF wouldn't listen to the really heavy stuff.

Music is an experience. People should listen to many genres, rather than submitting to only one.
I don't disagree there. However, crunkcore in my opinion, does not qualify as music.
I listen to a wide variety of metal, electronica, hip hop, and rock.

I just downloaded Warlock's discography, so I'll probably be rocking out to that.
Here's a taste.

I myself am on a
Porcupine Tree
,
Dream Theater
and
Tool
kick...so basically, a modern prog rock addiction. Those linked are just my favorite songs by each band, everyone should see all their stuff (although I know we already got a lot of DT and Tool fans in this thread, but I don't see much PT love around here...that should be changed).

I love Porcupine Tree. In Absentia is one of my favorite albums of all time :D

HammerFall, Nightwish, Rhapsody and DragonForce are all pretty good power metal bands.

Over the past few weeks I've been getting more into power metal, does anyone have any good bands they would suggest?
Here are the bands I listen to:
Freedom Call
Sonata Arctica
Excalion
Masterplan
And then not really power metal but
Russell Allen and Jorn Lande.
But power metal music videos are really cheesy, haha.
Blind
Guardian
's always high quality. They're the only power metal I really like, unless you consider Iron Maiden to be a sort of proto-power metal.
Iron Maiden - Hallowed be they name
What a great song. It's my third favorite Maiden song -
The Evil That Men Do
and
Aces High
both barely beat it.

I'm so going on a Maiden binge for a week. Listening to Number of the Beast now (album, not the song).

I listened to Maiden way too much and got burnt out on them. One day I'll pick up Powerslave or something and go on another Maiden binge.

Yeah that happened to me as well. I didn't listen to them for like 4 years. Hell, I didn't listen to any metal at all for about 2 years.
But it's time for some Maidenlove again, I feel.

Beyoncé at Glastonbury. <3 I was only let down by the fact that Kelly and Michelle didn't turn up and start singing about how they're too bootylicious for you babe. Or Gaga blowing up a phone, but oh well.
It's quite long. ;)
I love how one of her girls was called Quisha. :D
