Greetings,
My name Is Star Punk,
I really want to try classic, a year ago I was trying it out but I couldn't got the time or the money to keep it up. I have several questions to you veteran guys in this area of gaming since I consider myself really noob in WOW.
I heard there are different phases now I don't know what that means. I know when I played I was in pre-phase. Is it a good time to get into it again ?
I really like Alliance and Mages, So I will play a Mage but what race should I play it ? What proffesions should I pick ?
What server should I play on ? I will go with frost build I already checked it on, different sites it was recomended.
Secondly, When I started playing the quest line was lineal but after a few levels like 17-18 I hade different quest on so many different areas how do you guys keep track or do them in order ? What shoud I do if I get to a certain level (like 30), still doing lineal quest until max level ? I just want to have fun and doing these quest and monoton farming and grinding is really realxing for me, and I really need that now in my life. Any help is really appriciated, and I am open for any ideas and suggestions.
Thank you,
Sincierely,
Star Punk.
PS. Sorry for Bad english.

1. Phases are just different patches that were rolled out in the original vanilla Wow that added content such as new dungeons and raids. With those patches, there were higher and higher tiers of equipment one could get to improve your character.
2. Race for your character is mostly an aesthetic choice with some minor advantages depending on what you plan on doing. For example PVP, or certain professions have advantages with certain races. It's totally up to you depending on what you plan on doing.
3. Server choice should be based on if you like player vs player(PVP) or player vs environment.(PVE) or role playing. (RPPVE/RPPVP)
4. Quest lines do start to diverge and you don't "have" to complete them all. Best bet is to research the given quest lines here and decide which one's benefit your character the most.
5. Good luck and have fun!
Best regards,
Joh
