Sorry for being a huge noob and posting this here :P
I heard something about a tameable ghost wolf somewhere... can anyone tell me where to find it and what level it is?

Its in one of the new areas in dustwallow (spelling?) Anyway; Hes level 30, and you have to get a bunch of spell haste things; A shaman, the drums, berzerking (if you're a troll), and the 50% spell cast time thing, as well as a priest to MC the mob that summons them.
The ghostwolf (once summoned) Dies in ~8 seconds, so you need spell haste for tame pet to go very quickly since tame pet is normally a 20 second cast.

And
here he is
! There's a lot of great information regarding taming the pet that can be found on the NPC's page. When I got mine, I did it
like this
mostly, except I made the shaman use Bloodlust and the leatherworker use drums
after
the meta gem had procced. This way you don't risk wasting the cooldowns if you get unlucky with aspect switching for gem proc.

But isn't that the same as the lupine horrors in Shadowfang Keep?

too much trouble in my opinion. i think we have enough crap to deal with in WoW, so unless you're super bored, id forget about this pet.

Also check this

on YouTube. Might help...
I strongly advise you set up a few macros to tame as quick as possible.
Tell the Shaman to queue up Bloodlust... Chances are low that you WON'T proc the Meta Gem w/in 30 seconds.
1) Set a simple macro for /cast Aspect of the Monkey ... Sounds silly, but this macro makes it faster to spam the aspect as opposed to the regular button which toggles the ability on and off.
2) ( If you dont have Vent or Voice Chat ) Make a macro that says you are ready for the MC priest to release the pets... and at the same time use Drums of Battle, or Berserking if you are a troll.
3) Make this macro
/tar Grimtotem Spirit Guide
/cast Tame Beast
so that this will target it the momen they spawn, rather than trying to frantically click one, then hit the spell manually.
I got it in two tries actually... ironically enough... I DIED the same time it did... But that's because I tried to tame as soon as I lost a duel (to max out Berserk Buff)... and the wolves somehow managed to hit me... >_<
