ABSOLUTELY. I agree with iiisamii. GET VINDICATOR BELT, GLOVES and BOOTS FIRST.
Then replace worst first. However, chest is the most important piece, so you may wanna wait another 3k honor and get that as ur first piece. ur choice

yeah, if you're doin PvP, glad is the way to go. you'll own every nub that dosent have any glad gear, haha

Gladiator gear is a purely PvP set, so if you're a hardcore pvp'er, it's entirely the way to go. If you prefer raiding, it's probably just as easy for you to begin collecting tier sets which are equally useful in that arena. I.e. get the gear that helps you to do what you like to do in game.
Don't forget to do arenas for the gear as well, and even if you are primarily a raider, gladiator weapons and (for non-hunters) healing gear might be an upgrade.

The PvP gladiator set is amazing even in a Raiding setting. The amount of dps that you need to do in a Raid, my guild has just started running Kara, and I am geared out better than what is dropping.

Not trying to be rude, but you might want to upgrade some of your gear with Dungeon gear/heroic badge rewards before going in there...
I.E. Replace your necklace with
Choker of Vile Intent
Ogre mauler with
Bloodlust Brooch
Cloak with
Blood Knight War Cloak
or
Cloak of Malice
Maybe Terokk's Quill with
Sonic Spear
(for a bit of a boost to hit rating.)
To name a few.
Lack of hit rating you have there will hurt your DPS, and while the gladiator gear is good if you have absolutely nothing else, I would suggest you go with dungeon gear, as the gladiator gear leans heavily on stamina (Good, but stamina isn't going to help your DPS) resilience (As far as I'm aware, completely useless in PvE).
