Gotta Catch 'em all! (Non-WoW RP)

Night had fallen for the small town of Nuvema located in the Unova region as everyone fell asleep and aspiring trainers dreamed of the pokemon they would meet. All was quite except for the occasional hoot of a hoothoot or a purrloin rushing down the street after a patrat. But in the night sky a small figure appeared descending towards the small town soon revealing itself to be a lone delibird it's sack full of letters. As it reached the first house it landed before the mailbox and pulled out a letter and stuffed it into the mailbox before taking off for the next house.

Inside the letter it read.
Greeting aspiring pokemon trainer. I'm writing you this letter to let you know that I will be unable to give you your first pokemon as I'm away on research. But worry not for a friend agreed to help you start your journey. My friend Ceila own the pokeranch outside of town and has agreed to let you take one pokemon to start your journey. She has also been given a pokedex to give to you to aid you in your journey.

Ok so as the title suggests this is a pokemon rp set in the Unova region(Pokemon black/white). But unlike the game there are some changes.
1. The first and most important is you can choose any stage one evolution(Except Dragon types as they are generally considered rare)
2. There is no region exclusions as to what pokemon you can meet.

As to the RP itself I've made a couple simple rules.
1. You decide how the fights are going to go. If you do decide to battle another RPer then please try to decide calmly who will win. But if you decide to take it to far.(Like one shooting a gym leaders pokemon) I will take over and I really don't want to.
2. NO legendaries! If you want to do something with a legendary then please contact me and tell me why you think this should happen. And if you plan on catching it you need to know why that particular legendary would follow you.
3. The main purpose of this is to be a sandbox rp. You don't have to fight gymleaders. If you want to be a cordinater or maybe another rancher/breeder then so be it.

Character: Zach
Location: Nuvema Town(Pokemon Ranch)

Zach is a young boy 13 years old. He has short black hair with brown eyes. He stands 5 foot even and dreams of becoming the next pokemon grandchampion like his big brother Tony.

Zach was sleeping peacefully sleeping when he felt something nudge him. "Five more minutes mom." He mumbled only to have something jump onto his chest. "Bulba bulb!" He heard as his eyes shot open and he reached up to grab the bulbasaur that had landed on him. "Hey I was trying to sleep." He complained as he sat up and the tiny pokemon started to bounce on his bed. He looked around his room noticing the mess till he focused on the calender hanging above his desk. "It's today!" He exclaimed as he jumped out of bed to get dressed.

Character: Anton
Location: Castelia City
Description: Anton is a sixteen year old boy with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He stands at just under six feet tall and wears thick grey wool trousers and a grey jacket of the same material.

Anton looked around the city, marveling in a sights and sounds. This looked like and easy place to get lost in. He began making his way down the street, looking for somewhere he could eat.

Location: Outskirts of Nuvema Town
A fourteen year old boy, with black hair and eyes, and a dark skin, tall by average standards. He wears a black and red jacked, with black jeans and shoes

The kid folded up his sleeping bag and placed it in his, well, bag. Kay then yawned, before stretching. He was gonna get his Pokédex today, but a Pokémon, he had procured one himself. The boy then started walking towards the ranch, with an orange pokemon saying, cheerful: "Chaar!"

Character: Zach
Location: Nuvema Town (Pokemon Ranch)

Zach quickly got dressed throwing on a pair of blue jeans and a red tee-shirt before lacing up his sneakers and rushed down stairs. "Hey where is everyone?" He asked himself as he quickly found the house empty. "Bulba!" Bulbasaur said pointing a vine at a note on the table. Zach walked over and picked it up reading it over. "Oh right." He said setting the note down. "C'mon let's go to the barn." He said as he ran out the door with bulbasaur chasing him.

Zach ran towards the enterance of the ranch stopping at the gate. "Hi Bastiodon." He waved as he saw the Shield Pokemon laying against the side of the gate. The pokemon raised it's head long enough to acknowledge Zach before falling back asleep. Zach then turned towards the large barn at the front gate and walked in. "Mom? You in here?" He called as he entered the building seeing the front room had been converted into a guest center. "One second." He heard a voice call from the back room and a second later a woman walked out. She had short brown hair with a bandana tied around it and was wearing blue jeans and a green shirt. "I'm glad your here." She said as she walked up to Zach only being a head taller then him. "I need your help setting up the pokeballs for the new trainers." She said as she started to return to the back of the barn. "Just set the pokeball on the table with a picture of the pokemon in front of it." She added as she started to hand Zach pokeballs.

Nuvema Town, Pokémon Ranch

A large, thick brown boot placed itself atop one of the fences surrounding the ranch, the girl pulling her other leg up and dropping over onto the other side; within the boundaries of the property. She was older, and a far more experienced trainer than most who had business at the ranch this morning.

She grinned, stretching with her hands over her heads; fingers locking as she rose her arms to the sky. "Mmmm, feel that nice morning sun, right Rosebud?" She asked; tilting her head to look over her shoulder and past the arm in her way.

The large grass-type landed with a thud onto the ground, quadrapedal with an extremely long neck; a display of large red flower pedals exploding from the Maganium's shoulders.

Character: Alice Diamond
Location: Nuvema Town

Alice stood before the unlocked gate to the Pokemon ranch, nervously rocking on the balls of her feet. The wooden arch above the entrance was welcoming, but there was something foreboding about the situation. Taking the first step through that gate would be the first step on an exciting, dangerous adventure. She swallowed nervously, the Beautiflys running amok in her stomach again.

Crisp, morning breezes stirred the grass and Alice's bright red hair, currently done up into a large, bushy ponytail poking out from a white cap situated on her head, the brim shading her face from the early sun. She was small, with a round face and bright blue eyes that couldn't have pegged her older than eleven. She wore a white tank top underneath a pale pink, short sleeved vest, with purple shorts and mismatched lilac and rose socks stuffed into white sneakers.

Alice shifted the strap of the backpack resting on her shoulder, filled with supplies for the road: food, water, a sleeping bag, a survival kit, and her wallet. In her hand she held two pieces of crumpled paper. One was the letter that had arrived at the doorstep of Nuvema's local bed and breakfast, where she had been staying, and the other was a note from a distant friend. She smoothed the paper out and read it over one more time.

Hey Alice!

I'm sure by now you've arrived in Unova safely and are already settled in, so just letting you know we've got everything already worked out. We sent Professor Juniper the papers to get you registered on the Unovan trainer list, so you should be able to pick up a Pokemon and a Pokedex from her when the new season starts. If things get jumbled or lost in the mail, you can just show her this and hopefully she'll get things smoothed over.

Your mom is worried sick (no surprise) but we've reassured her you're going to be fine. She's taking care of Pogo for you, so don't worry about either of them. Instead, have fun on your Pokemon journey! We'll be meeting you over there as soon as we finish up things here.

And find that heartless jerk for me, will you? <3

She managed a small smile, folding the paper back up again and scanning her eyes across the ranch's entrance. This was the start of her Pokemon adventure, and there was no going back. She wanted to explore, to battle, to experience all the excitement.

And, of course, find her stupid, horrible brother.

Alice took a sudden breath and marched through the gates.

Character: Zach, Ceila
Location: Nuvema Town(Pokemon Ranch)

"And that's the last." Zach said as he placed the last pokeball and set up the picture before turning to his mother. "So do I get my pokedex now?" He asked excitedly.
"Not yet." She said with a chuckle. "We need to wait for the others to get here." She added as she sat another box on the table. "Why don't you go check on the other pokemon while we wait." She said.
"Okay." He said before walking towards the front door.

Outside the building Bastiodon had awoken when he heard someone approach the gate and sat up when he saw Alice. The pokemon slowly made his way towards the girl stopping every few seconds to eat the grass.

The Trainer and his Charmander arrived to the ranch, and while the pokemon was eating an apple, Kay took a few seconds to drink some water from his bottle, and followed track. Upon seeing a barn, the Trainer decided to approach it to ask for the exact place on the which trainers were supposed to receive their Pokédexes.
Charmander finished his apple, and followed Kay, with a happy "Char! Chaar!"

As Zach stepped outside he noticed someone walking up to the barn with a Charmander. "Hi there." He said with a wave. "Are you here for a pokedex?" He asked.

"Over the fence!"

"Krow!"

Vaulting the fence a figure threw itself over the fence. Worn sneakers struck the grass on the other side, the young man who had made the jump rising at once. He threw his arms out, wide sleeves on a green and black winter jacket sliding down his wrists, legs spread to form a massive X. He had a somewhat shabby appearance, with the old worn coat, blue jeans with thinned discoloured knees, and a thinness that seemed more born of hunger than intention. Throwing his mussed black hair back, pushing the backpack slung over his shoulders up, he hooted victoriously, "Nailed it!"

Black with intelligent red eyes and an almost regal smirk on his beak, a Murkrow hovered about the youths shoulder. It flapped onto a landing, tipping what appeared to be a black, broad brimmed hat towards the girl who had entered the ranch.

"Yeah! High five!" Cynis cried, throwing a palm towards the girl with the white cap.

"Aw, hey there," Alice said gently to the Bastiodon as it approached. She was reaching a hand out to the large Pokemon when she heard some commotion behind her, and barely turned around in time to sidestep the palm flying towards her face. As a result, her tightly clenched papers went flying into the air as she stared at the boy incredulously.

"Woah! Back off!"

The Trainer saw the incident, and followed the ways of the flying papers, picking them up. Kay then approached the girl, handing her the papers, saying: "Here, you let these go."

"Nearly hitting strangers isn't cool either!" Alice accused. She snatched her papers back from the other boy, mumbling a 'thank you' under her breath, and stormed off towards the ranch's barn, her cheeks flushing red.

"I was careful," Cynis defended hotly, though his voice had a slight whine of unjust persecution to it. "I didn't hit her, did I? And that's not easy when vaulting a fence, you know." Raising the hand that was not met, Murkrow promptly completed the high five. He smiled at the bird. "Thanks. But it's not the same."

With s shrug that said 'well, I tried' the Murkrow flapped away towards the barn. "Hey! Wait up!" So saying, Cynis hurried after the bird.
