As Zach walked he stretched his arms over his head. "I really shouldn't have slept against that tree. Going to be sore all day." He grumbled. Rocky and Rose walked along side the two as they started to walk along a bridge.

A grumbling grabbed Amber's attention and she turned to see Hawk staring warily at the bridge. "Come on!" She commanded, the Aerodactyl shaking his head and glancing skywards. "Oh, fine. Just don't draw attention to yourself." She sighed.
Grunting, the ancient pokemon spread its wings, a gust of wind overtaking the group as it lifted off above the trees; circling over them in the sky.

Zach watched the Aerodactyl take off while Rocky and Rose had to grab onto Zach to keep from being blown away. "The bridge isn't long so he won't be up there long." He said before starting to walk again.

It didn't take long for the two to cross the bridge and Zach could see Nacrene City in the distance. "That's where the next gym is." He said to Rocky and Rose. Rose seemed go nervous as Rocky jumped for joy.

"Yep. We've already beaten the first gym thanks to Rocky here." He said and Rocky flexed his arms. "And now it's Rose's turn." He added looking at the nervous bulbasaur. "Don't worry we still need a lot of practice before we challenge the gym." He said picking up Rose causing her to calm down some.

Alice dedicated the time between early-morning and mid-morning to further training for her two Pokemon and herself. As a trainer, she had to know the strengths and weaknesses of her own Pokemon, right? How they battled, their preferred moves, their own strategies. Not to mention she had to keep a careful watch to make sure they didn't hurt themselves too much. They were her responsibility, and she wasn't going to flub it up... again.
She sat on a flat rock with a folded up piece of paper smoothed out over her thighs. It wasn't elaborate, a simple chart with some of the more common type advantages for Pokemon scribbled over it. All basic stuff Dawn had helped walk her through before she took the ship to Unova. Grass beats Water, Water beats Fire, Fire beats Grass. Basic. And yet it only got more complicated. Ice beats Grass, so does Bug, and Flying? Fighting is weak to Flying and... what? Is that it? What else?
The redhead rested her face in her palms and sighed heavily. Who was she kidding? She couldn't remember all of this in the middle of a battle.
Alice looked up at Chi and Vince, the two Pokemon taking a break after the training session. Chi was excitable, per usual. The Meditite loved battling and was eager to dive into the fray at every opportunity, throwing kicks and punches and giggling the whole time. Vince, on the other hand, barely listened to Alice (but at least he did.) He didn't seem to dislike battling, but didn't enjoy it as much as Chi. He was quick, precise. Get it over with as fast as possible instead of dragging it out for the fun of it.
She could appreciate that, to a point.
"You guys ready to head over to Nacrene?" she asked. The two Pokemon nodded, and Alice looked over at the rooftops that were visible in the distance. "Well, then off we go."
The party of three was soon trekking down the road towards the town's entrance.

Hissing and spitting furiously in a ball of fur and feathers, the purrloin rolled back onto the road, her claws firmly embedded in a struggling pidgey. The smaller avian pokemon squawked and struggled relentlessly, but in the end surrendered to the inevitable and collapsed on the ground, tongue poking past its beak and breathing heavily. Panting no less than her victim, the purrloin released the bird, though she kept it pinned with a paw upon the neck, a single motion of a claw all that decided the creature's fate.
She glanced at the people coming down the road, but deliberately paid them no mind as she began to wash.
"That's the ticket," Cynis encouraged, exiting the tall grass behind the pokemon. "Get them out of the sky first and- oho!" he cried on spotting the girl treading down the road. "What a surprise! We meet again. And I see you have someone new too," he noted, looking down at the Treecko. "Catch him around here?"

Kicking off her shoes, socks and hat, Felicia burrowed under the blanket. "Mmm..." she mumbled, already half asleep as both the Smeargle and Kricketot joined her. "Wake me up tomorrow, 'kay?" Not even managing to wait for a response, she promptly fell asleep.

Robin hastly picked up a alarm clock set to seven o' clock. After the pokeball shaped alarm was up the young trainer quickly undresed and beded herself in the sheets. It did not take long for her to fall into a deep slumber and enter the mystical realm of dreams.

Chi kept Alice between herself and Cynis. On the other hand, Vince openly sneered at the twiggish boy, as if enraged by the prospect of being compared to a mere wild Pokemon.
Alice barely paid Cynis any heed, "Stop talking to me, I don't care, ciao," she whipped a hand dismissively, and kept on walking.
The Treecko raised two fingers to his eyes, and pointed them back at Cynis, watching the boy the entire time.

Cynis laughed at the dismissal. "Oh well done. But, why exactly do you expect me to stop?" he said, following her. "I mean, like I said, we are going the same way, after all. We are going to bump into one another now and then, so why not be civil?" He beckoned with one finger to the purrloin and, after giving the pidgey a last look she followed huffily, tail high like a flag pole.

The shriek of the alarm clock was followed by Felicia's as she bolted upright and promptly fell out of bed.

"You really know how to hold a grudge," Cynis continued his one sided conversation. "Really though, you make it seem like I go out of my way to indulge in kicking Growlith's as my personal hobby. I mean really, what exactly would you do if you were up against something that was trying to kill onion head over there? What is the oh so perfect reaction if, say, during your battle to capture glare-ie over there he had been out for blood?" Cynis crossed his arm before his chest. "Doesn't seem very fair to judge me like that, honestly."

Alice paused, clenching her hands into fists. Vince took his eyes off Cynis for the sole sake of seeing what the redhead was up to. She didn't remain in one place very long, or one direction. Alice whirled around, throwing her arm out and jabbing a tensed finger into Cynis' chest, "

!" she shouted.

!" she went on, her face flushing completely red and she was literally shaking in place. Chi's eyes went wide as she watched Alice yell at Cynis. "So for the love of Arceus,

"Well that's a rather harsh judgement to make on so little knowledge," Cynis retorted. "How do you know I only care about my 'cronies'?" he demanded, advancing a step. "What do you even know about me? Did I hurt your feelings? Or do you just not care to find anything out?"
Cynis took another step forward, his eyes glittering with a cruel glee. He was genuinely enjoying provoking such an impassioned reaction from the girl. He was pushing her, and he knew it was pointless really. What did he want to gain here? It was petty, yes, and potentially cruel, but damned if he didn't want to know. "So come on. Tell me," he insisted strenuously. "Have you ever had to make a life or death decision? Well? Which did you make? Or is the idea you may have to what's horrible? If I challenged you to a battle right now," he said, expanding a pokeball in his hand as he spoke. "What would you do? Run away? Or actually risk the lives of your pokemon? Because if you train a pokemon, one of these days, you're going to face a decision where screaming 'I hate you' isn't enough."
