The whole strength-adds-parry thing is not all that great though. Let's say you ended up in full tanking epics to have 1000 STR. 3/3 in Ravenous Dead just got you 30 STR which is 7 parry rating (which is what, like .2% parry?). 3 talent points for 7 parry rating and 60 AP. The talent is far more potent for what it gives to your ghoul.
I would gladly trade 7 parry rating and 30 Strength on getting Annihilation, Virulence, or Will of the Necropolis. Remember, WotN is being changed in the next mini patch to
Will of the Necropolis will now reduce the damage of any attack that takes the DK below 35% health by 5 /10/15% instead of boosting armor when wounded.
Or, for another perspective, remember that Corpse Explosion is getting changed to be a Runic Power skill instead of an unholy rune. That could be a possibility if you're willing to switch more points around.

I've noticed that most of you take death rune mastery, yet you do not have annihilation in frost. This seems flawed in my opinion unless you aren't using obliterate at all? I know death strike also procs the death runes, but obliterate, especially with the new glyph, does a lot of damage. Does the healing from death strike provide a significant amount of threat?
If there is good enough reason to use DS over Oblit and still keep high TPS, I was thinking of using something like this:
http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?deathknight=0355001533003310201251313513050000000000000000000000000005200000000000000000000000000&glyph=000000000000
However, if using DS over Oblit is going go gimp TPS by a fair amount, I was thinking this would be better. Also, I picked up Lichborne with this build, but I don't think it is a necessary talent anymore:

Any word on if they're going to fix the blood worms so that they don't go after other random targets after your current is dead? That will also determine if they belong in a tank build.

Thats what I intend on using after the patch, I think annihilation allows you to use both obliterate and death strike. Death strike for when youll get the healing without overheal and obliterate for the far superior damage and TPS when you are at full health. I would probably also fit in blood worms as well (switching out will of necro) since I use it now and have never had a problem with them as long as your fairly careful with pulling and mob movement coupled with the fact im very rarely at the level of health usable for necropolis.
