That's the thing about quotes. They are redundant. They serve to remind one of something said elsewhere, for clarity. If a person presents a post in which there is no text, simply a quote, then what exactly has the person posted?
The answer? Nothing. And that's what we have with the post which mysteriously vanished. Nothing. So if we started with nothing, and ended with nothing, what's there to complain about?

what about reafirming the post? its like saying "i agree" without saying i agree
if someone is browsing the forum and the question recieves the same answer from 2 or more people they are much more likely to follow said info
anyway Im guilty of this but was unaware that it was against your policys and will refrain from doing so (without elaborating) in the future

By being a member and using these forums, one agrees to our policies. There is no gray area on this issue and no one should be surprised when an issue occurs because of this.
