Switching between healing and tanking, I find myself in need of an addon that can display my whole raid, but in a small and compact window, as my UI is pretty crowded anyway (note to self: fix it!). Any suggestions?
Also, I can has links and/or screenshots?

I use AG_Unitframes and their raid groups are just gold :)

You can change the raid frames so they show the hp lost and/or xxx/xxx and if you use a diffrent UI you can just remove all the other frames and just use the Raid :)

Just out of curisoty if you have grid why don't you use it for both? Grid does come with profile setting so if you want it to be different for different toons you can just do custom profiles for each toon.
You can also customize both pitbull and xperl to do the same thing so just go with what you like

I am switching between healing and tanking on the same character. But that's not my problem - I am just not happy with certain settings in Grid, which is why I thought I'd look for an alternative. I used to use Healbot, and was pretty happy with it, but it takes way too much space when I am in 25/40 man raid - more space than I can afford.

if you are worried about space, i agree that ag_unitframes is your best bet. You can customize it to be extremely minimal. You can even create filters on who is shown by class, name, raid group, etc
definitely give ag_uf a shot.

That's interesting, I use to use healbot and could make custom view for different encounters. There was an AV setting that really minimized it down and I had one for 5 man, 10 man and 25 man. I even went so far as to do specific frames for specific encounters. That was the one thing I did like about healbot was how easy it was to switch between specialty frames. That is something grid can do better at.
