Depends on the recipe, plan or formula. The plans and patterns are usually for lvl 60 max. This is great for twinks however most of the patterns almost obsoleted by BC. Recipes & formulas are another story. Several pre-BC formulas (for enchanting) are potential goldmines that are available at higher rep levels. The 1H & 2H +x Agility formulas from the Timbermaw tribe are coveted by many players for their various twinks. Oft times they play well.
As for Alchemy, though I've never run an alchemist, it might be worth while using an Auctioneer style add-on. Many times they keep track of what sold, when and how much. It would give you a better idea about how often it gets purchased.

For enchanting don't bother either, there is only 1 thing that is still worth while as far as I am aware and that's a mana oil.... All the enchants such as 15 agility to weapon have been replaced in 2.2 I believe with 20 agility now.
Use that time to lvl your toon and trust me there is pretty of rep. grinding to be done in Outlands.
