You went around the room 3 times in less than 12 minutes. It sounds like your MT is moving him to much in between his own poison cloud drops. Also it seems that either the DPS is way too low or that some of the people in the raid aren't understanding to drop the cloud they get hit with right next to (but not in) where he dropped one, usually the 2nd to 3rd one back from where he is at. Is your offtank effectively picking up the spawns and moving them from the raid to avoid to much aoe damage? Do you have 2 of the range dps helping kill the adds?

We do it with 2 druid healers.
The adds die fast. There is no need to have the entire raid dps switch to them, just a couple. You should really only ever have 1-3 adds up at a time. We have a few of our highest range dps on them. Also, nearing the end of the fight, they do spawn faster, but by then you should have all DPS focusing on the boss, to burn him down, and just have the offtank hold the adds and a healer keep him.
Tankspot.com has some awesome high quality videos explaining boss fights. Have your guildies go check out the video. It will be very useful.

Yea, I think our tank only moves him 10 yards, but I am usually too busy healing to notice the actually difference, but I do notice how closely packed they are as they get bigger. He tanks on the other side of the grate, with his back to the wall, with the ranged dps/ healers on the other side of the grate and the melee dps on his backside away from the sides the poison clouds are. Everyone who needs to dump a cloud runs to grate nearest an existing cloud, but not in it.

Three times around is NOT too many times... when we beat him we went around the room like five times, we did it with 2 healers and it makes things easier if there is a lot of open space between the last poison cloud dropped and the tanks location for DPS to run to and hug the wall. And people saying get on his side, your tank screws up on the corners and turns him to your melee, he gets an acid spray, and you're probably going down. Grob is honestly a challenging fight while learning it but... people just need to not suck, its like all the serious encounters in naxx, you need to survive and not kill anyone else, and secondly do your job.
Also, why did you go from spider to construct? Clear order should be spider plague deathknight construct... four horsemen is somewhat neccesary for people to understand what transitioning it.

All the encounters are not as easy as all the other encounters... spider is clearly the easiest, plague is pretty easy people just need to learn the heigan dance and your healers need to figure out healing priority for loatheb, deathknight is all about tank transitions and just transitions period, construct is about moving where you need to move and then doing your job.

And none of them is hard.

We downed him last night on the 4th or 5th attempt. Never having been there we happened to use something closer to the "fast" method. For us the key was to get people to realize that it was far more important to pay attention to
when
you had the poison and
where
you dropped it, than to worry about dps or how long the fight took.
All of our wipes were solely due to people dropping poisons across the center of the room leaving no place for people to go. I got poisoned by someone dropping the stuff on top of me very early in one attempt. Laying there I zoomed back to see the pattern of the poison. That made what was happening crystal clear. As people died I whispered them to zoom out and look at the pattern on the floor (it disappears instantly when the last person dies so you can't show them after the fact) and watch where others were dropping the poisons. The next attempt was a cake walk which we completed with one death.
Once everyone understands the fight its suddenly pretty easy.

If you got 3+ ranged DPS, do it without an OT. If Grobbulus is positioned and moved properly you'll get only one add, which will spawn by the MT. Have him take it and the ranged DPS nuke it down. Works for us.
