First of all I don't get why you are so tryhard labeling yourself, but nvm.
Core Gamers are real people too.
However, balancing e.g. affects everybody and as WoW has content for everybody, there is also a guide for everybody or even an addon.
For leveling e.g. there is Azeroth Auto Pilot which makes things easy.
You say you're not advocating for easy mode but that's what it sounds like, as no game makes sense without certain challenges.
Nobody forces you to minmax your character to solo-kill an enemy that is supposed to be killed by a group of three players. Talking about groups, wouldn't that help you a lot? Playing in groups is fun.
Anyway, if you have a huge and diverse audience like wowhead, it's always hard to fit everybody's taste.
Although not being affected, I could imagine that people would rather be triggered by a guide adressing "special" people. Sensitive times with sensitive people, which is also reflected by from time to time popping threads like "xy is saying this and that on twitter, how can you take this player as a reference".
I played with a deaf-dumb guy for a very long time and besides being a very good shaman who cleared mythic with us, he just had a good time and made the best of anything and just enjoyed the game in his way, besides of pulling anyway when we called out not to pull in discord while a pulltimer was running. What I want to say is, just make the best of it and find *your* war and play the game in *your* way.
From my point of view snowflaking has no space in games. As WoW open world doesn't have a "easy/medium/hard" setting like some other games but is also neither extreme like e.g.Dark Souls, it follows a generic difficulty and I would also like to seer the wowhead guides keeping as generic as they can. Guidewriters really do their best in my point of view to keep things
balanced, just as blizzard does.
