Don't waste money on game guides, when you get the same things for free...but that's something even someone who played 3 years ago would know.....

Like Adam said, don't waste money on paid guides. Use the Class Guides found here on Wowhead, or head over to www.icy-veins.com or www.noxxic.com/wow for more class guides. Wowhead also has plenty of guides on other topics, once you re-learn your class.

i never saw the point in paid guides, information for a decent level path was quite easily found for free. and on top of that there were addons that helped you with it for free.

i myself never used any guides/addons when i was questing too level up, i saw a friend do it and he was completely stuck doing that guide and he never did something else. while i tried different zones on several alts, which resulted in me being able too level quicker in my own traject then he was with his guide.
ofcourse it took 4 chars before i was able to do that, but i had seen pretty much every quest avaible on that faction. while only knew of the ones he always repeated.
another plus side was i saw different sceneries had different experiences each time keeping it fun. while he started too complain that questing was boring.

Has anyone else tried this?
