Just going to throw out a bunch of information. Hopefully some of it will be helpful to you, Mahjzik.

Step One - Where to look
First you need to figure out what sort of add-ons you would like to have. My best advice if you are new to add-ons is to head over to the popular UI/Mod websites (I listed a few at the end of this post) and browse their most popular, most downloaded, and highest rated add-ons. These will generally be the mods that a large amount of players use. Most of these UI websites also offer categories for each add-on type, so you can browse their selection and find something that sounds appealing for you.

Step Two - Installing/Extracting
Once you have your add-on(s) downloaded you need to extract them from their .zip/.rar file (in most cases) to the correct location in your World Of Warcraft directory. Most add-ons you download should be extracted to the following directory...

World Of Warcraft -> Interface -> Addons

Some mods contain files that need to be placed in other directories -- just check to see if it comes with any special installation instructions.

Step Three - Enable Addons In-Game
Now that you have your add-ons extracted to the correct folder it's time to fire up the game! At your character select screen you should see an "AddOns" button in the bottom left corner of the screen. I often make sure I check the "Load out of date AddOns" box in the top to ensure new patches don't disable the mods.

Also from this window you can check which specific mods you want to enable and those that you do not.

Step Four - Configure Your Add-ons
A lot of add-ons have many options to relocate and customize the mod to your liking, and each add-on is different. I recommend you read the instructions from each add-on to learn the various commands and menu items that can be used to customize and configure them.
