I'd love to help you, but I'm using Grid.
If you're interested in trying out that different add-on that accomplishes mostly the same purpose as healbot, I suggest you watch Surannhealz's video on how to setup Grid.

I bind all heals to the keyboard and the mouse as redundancy is good so long as it's in different and logical places.
When pve healing it's mostly with the mouse.
No Modifier +

All my instants go here (as holy flash heal is often instant, but it's also a bread and butter disc spell).
left click - Flash Heal
right click - Renew
mwheel click - Power Word: Shield
mwheel up - Prayer of Mending
mwheel dwn - Penance/Circle of Healing
Shift +
-
Stand and deliver spells and dispels go here.
left click - Greater Heal
right click - Binding Heal
mwheel click - Prayer of Healing
mwheel up - Dispel Magic
mwheel dwn - Abolish Disease
Ctrl +
-
Utility spells go here.
left click - Levitate
right click - Power Infusion
mwheel click -
mwheel up - Fear Ward/Shackle Undead
mwheel dwn - Pain Suppression/Guardian Spirit/Mind Control
Make a macro and bind the following to mousewheel up:
/cast Fearward;Shackle Undead;Dispel Magic;Prayer of Mending
/stopmacro
/focus
And the following to mousewheel down:
/cast Pain Suppression;Mind Control;Abolish Disease;Penance
/stopmacro
/focus
I bind camera zoom functions to Alt Mwheel Up and Alt Mwheel Down.

I don't need to use middle mouse button, which I find really tough not to throttle by accident.
lol... I'm imagining a hand flailing around a mouse while sloppily trying to hit all the buttons during a raid battle... haha!
Personally, I only use left click, right click, Mouse4(back), Mouse5(forward), and then "Shift" combinations for each one. Anything else I use my hotkey bar for. I use Alt + M4 for Guardian Spirit to make sure I don't accidentally throw it on someone and waste it. My mouse wheel is too unreliable for me as well, I end up scrolling it while I'm clicking forcing a zoom in or out. Very discombobulating.
