pop up in tree form to heal or heal in Night Elf form?
i tend to heal in Nelf form for a while, cus in tree form they immediately know that ur a healer and just nuke you down, and it takes them a while to figure that out when ur running around as a nelf.
i usually go into Tree when they eventually know that im a healer.
I agree with Mikelhealz, but as for
It just seems like healing in tree form screams "come kill me, I'm healing".
let them come! Teach them why the Tree strikes terror in the hearts of enemies everywhere, while your buddies peal off their puny metal armour and spill their precious blood, so you can root in it later! Kite, shift, HoT, dance; Nature finds a way, and living through all the storms they can throw at you is what you're good at!
Unless they're warlocks casting Banish...
Well, as long as you're aware
they come at you. Trees are pretty hard to kill, and they heal PvP like nobody's business. While the enemy is trying to make you into planks, they may be overlooking, say, that holy priest, who's pretty darn squishy, but can do some nice healing while they are hammering at you, who isn't nearly as concerned as they'd be.
(Holies in a BG? Come play AV or WG on my battlegroup/server, they're all over the place)
Most of the time (especially when guarding a node) I stay in tree form and keep Regrowth + Rejuv ticking on myself at all times as a deterrent. Most players are well aware of how hard a tree is to kill, and those that don't will find out in short order. If you're getting zerged by 2-to-1 odds or more chances are you're gonna topple, tree form or no.
I will, however, drop tree form if I see the barest hint of a warlock - getting banished is the worst possible thing that can happen to you, since careless dots won't break it and it lasts FOREVER.
Me: "Thanks for the heals." The healer: "What, did I miss you?" Me. "No, I mean it, thanks for the heals."
When did we start assuming that a compliment is sarcastic?
A sad state of affairs indeed, but most people tend not to notice their healers until the heals stop.
