Healing Touch + Lifebloom = broken?

I'm posting where I can't test, so if I'm wrong on this, please excuse the post.
Last night in heroics, I noticed that Healing Touch was refreshing Lifebloom. As far as I know, only Nourish is supposed to do this. This seems broken to me given that I can think of many situations where I'd want to use Healing Touch AND let Lifebloom, well, bloom. Can any verify that this is working as intended? The tooltip on Wowhead mentions nothing about refreshing LB. Is it a talent that I just didn't read closely? etc, etc, etc.

A little research would show you that it's a case where you didn't read
the talent
very closely.

Sure enough. I saw the Nourish when I talented into that, but somehow completely skipped over Healing Touch. Strange.

It was added to the talent in the most recent revamp. You're both right. I personally wish I could get the 10% benefit to those spells without them refreshing lifebloom stacks : /

I'd rather have control of the bloom itself, than to not have to cast it. Besides, lifebloom is a cheap spell to cast.
Every time you refresh Lifebloom with Lifebloom you're making it less efficient, because you're eating up a "blooms" worth of healing on a cast.
