The easiest thing to do is go to the item page, such as
Champion Herod's Shoulder
, and click on "Link" which will give you something like this:
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Shift-click this to place a link into a chat message: \124cffe5cc80\124Hitem:42950:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h\124h\124r");
Paste that into the chat window on your level 29, and it will let you click on the item link and get the stats for a level 29.
