Seriously, a GM just told you it's a known issue in the game's programing code. Why do you think a fan site discussion forum can fix it?

Tooltip info is wrong .

It sais you can learn it at LW level 425 but that should be 525 .
I learned it without a problem at that level.

Yeah, this one pissed me off. I didn't even look at the level requirement (might have noticed something was wrong had I seen 425). So I dump 20 Heavy Leathers into buying 2 recipes (and those go for 80g apiece so do the math), and I can't learn the recipes or return them. Sure, I will be able to learn them eventually, but in the meantime I paid WAY too much for recipes I can't even use. It would have been worth it had I been allowed to make the recipes and resell, but not to sit on them for a few days while mat prices settle down. I can't believe Blizz knows about this and can't hotfix it. It's been weeks now and they can't change a handful of level requirements?

i had the same issue, the pattern is 525 LW

i contacted a GM, to ask why it didnt work (since it says 425 LW needed)
he said it was a known issue, and told me if i would clear my Cache it most likely showed the correct lvls required for each recipe.
(i havent done this yet, but maybe it helps someone out there)

Same issue, although I did find it weird that epic items were avalaible at 425.

Contacted gm and they took the recipes and i got my leather back.
