Respec frost for pvp. Simply put: It's more efficient, you have a bubble, an iceblock, and it's more fun :-P
If you really like fire, go 3 min spec maybe? Arcane Power, Trinket, PoM, Pyroblast, use the instant cast fire one I cant remember its name right now( fire blast maybe?), then use blast wave.
That might not work, idk. I am not a very experienced mage. Only played it at my friends house once.
