Help with macro

I was trying to make my own macro last night and failing. So here's what I need. I want to target a power spark and then death grip, but I only want to cast death grip if the power spark is targeted. If I am targeting, say, Malygos, I do NOT want to death grip if I hit the button. Or if the power spark is out of range or even does not exist, I do NOT want to death grip Malygos or the next closest mob.
If you couldn't tell I died a couple of times due to macro fail.

I was using the second line of that only, but sometimes it would not target the power spark or some reason, I definitely still gripped Malygos and what I'm going for is a macro that will only use death grip if power spark is targeted.
