Auction House, definitely.
Just gather up as you go, when your full, check the current prices for what you have on the AH, and shove um in there, trust me, it will be *much* more, if not 100x so, lucrative than just selling to the vendor for a few silver.
Also, if you really want the big bucks, partner that up with either skinning or mining for even more profit.

also i find enchanting rather lucrative. but extremly time and money consumming to skill up. but ones there you earn real good money. just don´t think it is worth lvling for money making later on.. will take alot of selling to get the lost back.
That used to be the case when all you could do was enchant your own bracers over and over to skillup, but now you can enchant vellum and sell the scrolls on the AH. Make money while you level enchanting!
