Hahahaha! You gotta be kidding me? Spriests got one reason to raid in dps spec and that definitely isn't the dps, its the mana. Other than that:

T4 content is diferent than T4 gear, A lock that just dinged 70 with tailoring and money makes easily the frozen shadoweave set + spellstrike set + belt of blasting and he is full hit cap and more than ready to do t5 content.(##RESPBREAK##)4616##DELIM##Pegasus2141##DELIM##

Elemental Shammy, with a good tank can be easly the first in damage done, all spells are crit, so HUGE damage and 0 mana from Clearcasting + Water Shield, isn't good?

Elemental shamans do not scale well above t4 content, they become mainly group buffers in t6/sunwell as their maximum damage is about 2.2k dps.

The reason the rogues are pulling 4.8k average dps and warriors pulling 3.9k average in MH is because of the haste that was nerfed a long time ago. Rogues used to be able to bring their attack speed down to 0.5 MH and 0.12 OH or something like that.
So yeh, that chart is still inaccurate.
Although the sunwell one is, showing hunters as the highest dps class currently in game.
No, the reason rogues and warriors are pulling insane dps is due to a buff you can get from one of the trash mobs if you have a priest mind control it. It gives you 100% haste, and usually 50-60% of all rogue damage is from white attacks anyways, so it essentially doubles half of a rogues dps (not including windfury procs, sword spec procs, combat potency procs, etc). If the rogue would have done 3k dps, it will now do 4.5k+ dps.

As was established fairly early into this topic, there is no 'best'.
The best dps class is the tank who can get so much threat noone has to hold back, the healer who can keep that tank alive and any other class that can reduce the life of the target before the fight comes to the wrong side of victory.
There is no "I" in team. Each class + spec is the best and the worst, if played under the desired/unwanted conditions.
Anyway back on topic, I'd say go for druid. Balance ain't too bad at t4 and you can always change your role if you get bored or if the guild is lacking a healer or a tank.
