Holy/disc in 2v2

(Sorry to make yet another spec thread).

Im going to be joining up with an Affliction warlock, and am looking for a good disc/holy or holy/disc build. I figured that I would usually be the primary target at the offset so I tried to fit in all the healing and defensive talents I could manage. How effective do you guys think this spec would be, and how much do you think it will hurt my 5v5 healing capabilities?

Edit: Wanted to add, at the moment my gear is abysmal. No resilience and only around +1300 healing.

Nothing much to comment on here. You selected the pre 2.3 cookie cutter Priest PvP build. I cannot offer any critiques, as 28/33 is widely accepted by the Priest community and has proven to be an effective PvP build. However, if you're accompanied by a second healer in your 5v5 team, I would advise you to look into the survivability and added utility of deep Discipline. I've been running 41 into Disc. for about a month now, and the noticeable difference in survivability is like night and day. The additional changes to Disc in 2.3 only make it that much better!

You should consider getting resilience gear since you don't have plate or mail like a paladin/shaman. Quest27 is right on the discipline tree being better for surviving in arena nowadays. Its really easy to get the epic honor pvping items to boost up your resilience and hp. Just by doing a couple of hours doing AV/AB/WSG (AV holiday gives by far the fastest and most honor for its holiday) I can not fathom myself to even think about having less than 10,000 HP unbuffed doing arena. Priests rely on gear for arena :) Hope it helps you a little, I'm a retired Rival from Season 1 so hope it helps a little!
