holy priest have the biggest mana consumption out of all healing classes. They have only one way of getting mana back and that is Hymn of Hope but you should only use that in emergencies. Either then that Holy has no way of getting mana back that's not including trinkets like Jar of Ancient Remedies. Perhaps you need more spirit. Holy priest just as much spirit has they have intellect.
You also shouldn't be using you biggest heals all the time. Use your weakest heals unless the situation demands otherwise. Don't forget you don't need to top them of all the time, only before each boss or during certain mechanics. just give enough healing that they can survive the fight. If they are going to fast for you to to get mana back, ask them stop or slow down.

A lot of lower level gear does not have spirit, having haste/crit instead. This causes problems for Holy because a huge part of their regen is spirit based.

Holy's mana regen "mechanic" is
, meaning you have higher reliance on spirit than other healer with proper regen mechanic. You need to get more spirit until you regen enough mana. Also make sure you adapt your healing style so you can conseve mana, rather than having to regen it.

I've noticed as my level has progressed it's a lot harder to heal.
What I've experienced as a currently level 84 Holy Priest is that an overgeared tank will come into the regular dungeons and not bother with cooldowns. This also goes for everyone else in the group... apparently using defensive cooldowns is uncool. Let's just stand there and flex.
It's a lot harder healing on trash than on bosses, too. Seems like after every trash pull I'm oom.
