This is what i go for:
+int for red sockets
+int / spirit for blue sockets
+int / crit for yellow sockets
+int shadowspirit diamond, the one with +2% max mana seems the best for me right now
I've been doing almost exactly this. (I'm using int/resil in yellow.) You're going to have to decide if you want to go int in all sockets though. The additional potential in your mana pool might outweight the crit/resil and spirit + socket bonuses. It's up to you - we still don't have 100% accurate theorycrafting either way.
