you have 515 defense
u need 540 defense to be uncrittable
Right idea, wrong number. 535 for heroics, 540 for raids.
And no, I'm not surprised at the story. People tend to bail when they see the tank getting crit. It's a very bad sign.
You need approximately 100 more defense rating on your gear before you're ready to tank a heroic:
- Defense enchant on the cloak is far superior to agility
- Defense enchant on the wrists
- Gem for defense before stamina until uncrittable
- Sons of Hodir rep for shoulder enchants

Armory is being a whiny beeyotch right now, so I synched your character on Warcrafter - this is not 100% reliable, so...
What I'm seeing on raw numbers:
539 Defense
20.6k Health
Much better. You should handle the easier heroics (UK, Nexus, VH) just fine, and can move up to 10-man raids with minor gear improvements.

I'm showing you at 541 Defense on Armory, so you're good to go for Heroics. Anything that can be enchanted or enhanced that isn't already, put Stamina on it.
Don't overlook the shoulder and head enchants from Outland, if you don't have the rep for the ones from Northrend yet (assuming that you ground rep in Burning Crusade, of course). If you pick up the shoulder enchant from your Shattrath faction and the head enchant from Keepers of Time, you can trade that Defense enchant on your shield for Stamina instead (I think).
