Feral. Important talents:
t1 Ferocity
t3 Sharpened Claws, Feral Swiftness (dodge=less damage, faster means faster prowls)
t4 Shredding Attacks*, Predatory Strikes, Primal Fury
t5 Brutal Impact (*Pounce, Shred, Shred is the opener of choice)
t6 Heart of the Wild (SotF is more of a tanking talent, but still nice later on)
t7 Leader of the Pack, Improved Leader of the Pack
t9 Mangle! *This replaces the first Shred in your opener.
t2 Resto: Naturalist. Get Furor on the way.
t3 Resto: Omen of Clarity

Stack Str, Agi, Stam. Agi means more dodge and crit. Str and Stamina are there when you need to go Bear to survive adds, since you don't have the tricks a Rogue does.

This may get boring because it's so easy. You also may want to grab Nurturing Instinct so you can Rejuv yourself if you're dying faster than the mob. Also, Barkskin Regrowth. The 20% reduction will help once you get back to Cat.

Don't bother going Balance until you have stellar Balance gear.

Moonkin if played well you will have no down time and can easily do the group quests as well as take 4-5 mobs on even in clothy gear(barkskin, starfall, hurricane). I think I stopped to drink maybe 10 times 70-80, and most of those were during instance runs. as far as single mobs:

1. SF at max range.
2. SF on the way to you.
3. SF if one of your other SF's stunned him OR W spam till dead.
4. Find new mob to rock face on.

If you plan to level as feral then go boom or level boom then go feral you'll want to switch to your final spec for at least the last 2 levels to get back into the swing of things.

I'm also planning on rolling Druid soon, and my current plan is to level as cat then switch to moonkin at about 60ish, so I can get the top talent in the balance list. I'm looking to go something like this first, but I'm not sure what to go for in the balance tree as I've never played it or looking into it too much before. Anyone got a good spec that reaches the top of the tree for about level 60? I'm also planning to go owl then as the set of early Outland gear should be of use (I'm guessing here, I've not looked at it yet..). If it's no good I'll just keep going as cat I guess, then spec owl later when I end up with a set of gear.
