I do the same, but sometimes when I want to stay home and play WoW, I actually get sick (Cold, cough, etc). Happened on the Tuesday, two days before WotLK.

I've stayed home countless times to play wow, and i think that's why my 3-year school took 4 years and not 3.

Sometimes i've called in sick so that i could just play wow and wouldn't need to work.
