If you're going to raid, you had better get Imp. AotH (some might disagree about that, tho, either way can work) and Efficiency. I doubt you'll be using Mend Pet a whole lot in raid situations, except when moving and having just used Arcane Shot and other instant spells that launch GCD. PvP might be a different matter, tho. Thick Hide isn't such a big deal, you can pretty safely remove it (except for the 1 pt to get enough for next tier, obviously) and use the points for maybe Frenzy 4/5 -> 5/5 and Imp. Mend Pet 1/2 or Bestial Swiftness for PvP use.
That's just my two cents, I'm not a hunter expert by any means.
