Actually you should have 2 sets of healing gear, I'm not lying to you either lol. One for longivity with a high amount of mp5 and such, and one for short fights that involves alot of burst healing. A haste set would be ideal for fights such as Loathub and other fights that involve alot of group heals, while a longevity set would go well with fights like Sapharion, Kel'Thuzad, and Malygos. Most of our healers have 1700-1900 bonus healing and have no problems with 25 man Naxx so bonus healing isn't really a large factor anymore with most fight.

I'm still experimenting in wotlk and agree with Zomglazer & Pedders.
I have a question though: +Int also seems useful with points in water shield (increased crit equaling more mana). Couldn't +int and +crit be heavily stacked rather than mp5 for fights that can afford the more frequent water shield cooldown? Anyone have data on this?

+int, always, period. Just like Pedders said. However, I disagree that we are still mostly Chain Heal spam. While our Chain Heal is still probably our best heal, LHW is now so much better for us than it used to be.
Refer to EJ:

LHW has a ~78% efficiency when it crits when combined with a talented water shield. When Glyphed, LHW is healing for a ton on your MT, and combine that with the benefits of Earthliving and Ancestral Fortitude, and you're talking about a fairly decent single target heal. While we don't beat out Paladins, I believe a shaman, with our massive crit output from only talents (we get +12% crit just from talents), is one of the best raid healers now because of our ability to single target heal effectively with LHW and our massive potential for raid-wide healing with Chain Heal and Ancestral Awakening.
But maybe I'm just crazy.

Thundering Strikes
+
Tidal Mastery
+
Blessing of the Eternals
= 14% =]
Unbuffed in my mix of leveling / dungeon blues I'm sitting at 22.6% crit on my character sheet, which I believe is actually 27.6% heals crit because Tidal Mastery shouldn't be included on the char sheet.
Even with only 102 mp5 (232 w/ water shield + glyph) I find that my mana efficiency is quite excellent. I even died on a fight last night, reincarnated, potted, mana tide and kept on going no problem.
Lulz. I should learn to add.
Yeah, with LHW spam, shaman are easily the most mana efficient healers. Mana Tide is just ridiculously good, and with glyphed and talented Water Shield, we really never run out of mana.
