I have a 79 hunter in full cata greens almost minus 1 trink and a cloak... Why does it make you so overpowered in pvp?
cata greens below 80 are so overpowered cause they got an insane amount of ilvls on them compared too a wrath green/rare.
cause of that the stats a cata green gives are huge, compared too what wrath stuff offers.
some people think you shouldnt use them in the 75-79 bg's cause of the huge ilvl inflation. personally i say use the best you can get your hands on and ignore those whiners. if you can get it they can also, its their own fault they didnt get it too take advantage of it.

Cata greens are equivalent to Wrath epics.
It is identical to a fully epic'd out 80 wrecking ungeared levelers.
Any class is ridiculous in that gear, especially if they fill out all their slots. I had a blood DK that could crit for over 15K either with DS or HS (with diseases up). I've seen elemental shaman whack people for more than that with Chain Lightning.
When people in quest gear have 10-15K health... yeah, it's overpowered. The only time you'll have a challenge is when someone else has comparable gear.
