hunters vs frost/fire mage

well i am 62 hunter and when i see an ally mage, allways when i use BW he uses icelobk, so i just waisted my 3 mins cd (btw i am BM) and when i duel them, why are they allways comming close to me at start? X( thats annoying :(
what is the best way to kill a mage in pvp?

If you meet up with an fire mage, he will surely start going into your deadsone. Trap him, run away, pop BW, Wing Clip and just kite him.
Vs a frost mage may be tricky, since they just Summons Elemental and then Ice Block as you pop BW. Just kill the elemental, and nuke the mage as you still got a few sec left from your BW. Lay trap as he will go into your deadsone for Frost Nova and Ice Lance you. If your lucky, he will go into the trap. Trinket out of the Nova as he problably does aswell. Wing Clip him and kite/nuke before he can Cold Snap - Summon Elemental - Ice Block again.
Or just wait untill the patch 2.3, as they remove the deadsone. Then you can shoot them even if they are close.
