Hunters with crabs in PVP
Return to board index
Yes, like said. Kill crab (preferably while los'ing the hunter). They have no resil so are easy to burst down. After that its easy to stay on the hunter.
Actually they have. and yes, a hunter with a crabby is really irritating. especially when they have the freeze trap on the ground that they just circle around to get out of our range.
kthx? dont let them get out of range, if you have HS up it should not be a problem and really, the fight between hunters and warriors has not changed much since BC the major exeption being disengage
kthx? intercept's cd is 30 seconds, 20 with improved intercept from talent. disengage has just 5 seconds more on its cd but a good hunter always has a trap right by him. they were easier to kill back then. thats what changed. kthx.
Thats why your supposed to learn how to kill a hunter, not just assume that hes going to beat you everytime, warriors have just as many abilities as hunters, dont just use the basic cookie cutter approach and think you are going to beat him, theres a thing called tactics and i hope you learn to put them to use, people p!ss me off when they whine and cry about classes they cannot kill all because of 1 stupid ability or 1 perk that class has.
For someone who haven't played wotlk yet i'd like you to try it. and the reason people QQ abt it is they really can't kill a hunter 1 on 1. not easily atleast.
Keep in mind this game has never been based around 1 on 1 combat
Can the freezing traps be reflected using spell reflect? If so, that'd keep a hunter from dancing around a trap. I can't try this one myself because I'm floating around in the ocean atm.

Hunters are not indestructable, one thing I find works is after you get him to use his Disengage and have closed the distance again, (for some reason when I go zerk, no matter how much rage I had before, I won't have enough to intercept until I get some more rage. Fail.) is to Bladestorm him. Providing he stays in range the whole time, you ought to shave a good bit of his hit points off. Otherwise keep hamstring up, if you are one of the minority of warriors who has either the glyph of Hamstring or talented it the snare will
cause him to use his trinket, thus further leveling the battlefield. (IMO, the only time Glyph/Talented HS is any good is against hunters)
If all else fails and he annihilates you, well, take some solace in the old addage: nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you at least tried your best, then you got nothing to worry about.
