I am confused Mass stun? Group Healing? Lightning bolt not doing damage? Huh what spec are you?
Maelstorm LBs are a free 4-6k damage. I do love to use my maelstorm on GHW, but waste it on a pathetic Chain heal no thanks. Only stun I know of is Spirit wolves and that's a single 3 sec stun great for timely interrupts, or kills.
While I was resto all through wotlk thanks to the complete horrible output and survivability of enhance in wotlk, I am proud to be back.

We only kinda sucked after 4.0, because most classes were buffed while enhancement lost ~5%. Amusingly my self buffed dummy dps went way up while my raid buffed dps dropped slightly.
Maybe the OP is thinking of
War Stomp
? It's only really useful in PvE settings as enhance since you'd be in melee.

46 your comment stated the problem with enhance in wotlk. We were only viable in 2s witha class that could CC for us. Outside of that we were targeted and dispatched quickly.
