It'll absolutely laugh at WoW. You'll probably never, ever see below 120 FPS.
/console farclipOverride 1
/console farclip 10000 <-- tweak this for lulz and fun
Farclip is the distance that gets rendered. There's a "cap" of ~1277. Farclipoverride overrides this cap for people with machines that can handle it. My friend can see halfway into the next zone in Outland on an 8800 GTX
, so I'm sure you can go high as hell and still push >100 FPS.
As far as build critique,
Your PSU seems weak for what you want to throw at it. Get a couple hundred more watts with decent +12v rails, or you'll probably just be bottlenecking your system's performance across the board.
Your motherboard is very good, but I'd go with >this<
. Same price, but I think it's a bit better.
Your video card can also be brought down in price. "Black edition" just means it's overclocked at the factory. So, you're paying the company to do what you can do by yourself. And probably should do yourself, to tweak it to your system (airflow). Just look into a standard low-end 9800 GTX or GTX+ card; they all have the same internal parts, just different stock clocks. (>This<
would be my choice.)
And a note on the general build: if you're building it solely for WoW, you're doing overkill. Core i7, 9800 GTX+, $300 motherboard, all powerful enough to laugh at WoW several times over. You can build a computer at half that cost or less to handle WoW at max settings at great framerates. Edit:
XP pro 64-bit will outperform Vista. But regardless, make sure there are 64-bit driver versions for all your parts before you install a 64-bit OS. Edit:
Oh, and the GTX 200 series of video cards is actually the highest, not the 9800 GT]/GX2. But like I said, it's all overkill anyway.

dont forget my case is badazz its got a top 200mm fan and 2 120mm
That case is
badass. Gotta love Antec. (I wanna get their 1200 case.)
people said vista was better oh well i already ordered also 500 watts should be enough? do i thought 1000 watts was to much on the power bill 500watts
~700 watts should be safe. 500 will choke you, 1000 watts is more than you need. But pay attention to +12v rail power, not just wattages. Watts aren't everything.
is alot i wanna run crysis on very high you think i can do that?
Yes, this computer can run Crysis moderately well. (Don't expect to run full settings at insane framerates though, I don't even think single GTX 280s can.)
i thought liquid was way to expensive
Liquid cooling is just a pain in the ass you don't need to concern yourself with. It's meant for absolute monster rigs.
u think xp pro will out run vista? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZtzVYgmQj4
I'm not gonna bother to watch that. I've looked at my fair share of benchmarks, both good and bad. XP will outperform Vista. The amount though really depends on how and what you run. And generally speaking, I wouldn't consider it enough of a margin to worry about it if you like Vista.
Reported for bumping, and for having this on two different forums. No one cares that you ordered the parts for your new computer.
Pure, high-grade 100% power-tool.
