I need help with DBM, Bigwigs, or something similar

If anyone can give me any pro advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I can not get Bigwigs, DBM, or Dues Vox (or whatever) to load as addons. Wow won't even look at them for some reason. I am on a Mac. I have deleted and restored my wtf folder. I am totally lost. All other addons work fine thankfully. Just the ones that blow a horn in my ear when I stand in fire don't work. Thanks in advance with any info.
PS, I opened a ticket to Blizz and they said they can't help with addons at all. Not sure where to go to fix this.

It is in the same folder as the other addons that are working. It won't even show up under addon menu in game to enable them.

They're not in one folder that has each individual part in it, are they? In other words, you directory shouldn't look like
Addons
-Bigwigs
--Bigwigs
--Bigwigs_Baradin
--Bigwigs_Bastion
...
--Bigwigs_Plugins
--Bigwigs_Throne
It should look like
Addons
-Bigwigs
-Bigwigs_Baradin
-Bigwigs_Bastion
...
-Bigwigs_Plugins
-Bigwigs_Throne
I shortened the lists, but that's the general idea. There should be a separate folder for each part of the addon, and not one big one for the whole of it with subfolders for each part.
