Improve the search function?

How about improving the search function by tagging entries with common abbreviations or misspellings. I'm not 100% how to explain this so examples will work better:

Abbreviations:
"BWL" would return Blackwing Lair
"SSC" would return Serpentshrine Cavern
"TB" would return Thunderbluff
"WOTF" would return Will of the Foresaken

I appreciate that there is overlap in some of these (e.g. DW is used for both Deathwish and dual-wield) but the majority are unique or agreed upon by most.

Etc.

Misspellings:
"Mauradon" would return Maraudon
"Serpent Shrine Cavern" would return Serpentshrine Cavern
"rouge" would return rogue ;)

For a lot of reasons, abbreviations are not something we'll be able to implement; at least not any time soon. Though, we got improvements coming to the entirety of the website's search functions.. filter improvements and additions, quicksearch features, etc.

A lot of neat stuff is in the works and I'm sure all of you folks will love it as much as we do. Some of it is almost ready, but some features will still require a while before they're released and atm the priority is still on the character profiler/wishlists/etc.

So to sum it up, a lot of changes are coming.. "Soon™" :)

He's one for you. the filter function for "Requires reputation with a faction" needs a "NO" option
