Improved Fear for PvE

Just looking for opinions on it. The slow seems nice but...most of the time I'm just standing in the middle of the swarms and dotting everything. I can see it being quite useful if you really need to get something off your back and keep it off, but this seems like more of a PvP talent than a PvE one. Could I find a better place for my points in a PvE build?

it would almost be beter to leave 2 points untalented then drop them in improved fear. there's absolutely no reason to take it in PvE and i hear it's questionable in PvP.
there's far too many nice talents at the bottom of the tree you needn't even think about imp fear.
...in fact there's enough nice talents on the first two tiers so that you don't have to put ANY points in that whole tier, which is good because they're all a bit rubbish.

Actually, Fel Concentration is my Warlocks best friend. It's the main reason I can drain tank so easily. Drain Life restores a ton of life.
But it's nice to know I don't really need improved fear. I kept feeling like I was wasting points using it >.> respec time ^_^

i'm guessing you're not a max level warlock? fel concentration has much less use once you finish levelling.
